Ernest Henry Mining (EHM) is a copper and gold mining and processing operation located 38 kilometers north east of Cloncurry in north west Queensland, Australia. EHM began commercial production in March 1998 as an open pit mining operation and transitioned to underground mining in December 2011 extending the life of our operations out to 2025. The company employs approximately 530 people plus contractors, and invest heavily in increasing employment opportunities for locals.
EHM is a part of Glencore’s fully integrated north Queensland value chain, which stretches from Mount Isa all the way to the Port of Townsville and includes iconic, world-class operations that unearth, process and prepare vital natural resources for export to markets all over the world.
